Two source types. Clear distinctions.
A record uses one of the following source types. They tell you how the information was obtained.
in-game / Tested in the game
The site author personally performs, observes or measures the result in-game. The record applies to the game version used for that check; it is not a retelling of someone else’s claim.

- Value

- source
- in-game
- verifiedVersion
- 0.00 (example)
- verifiedAt
- 0000-00-00 (example)
This is a fictional format example, not a real vehicle or a measured value.
official / Published by the source
The information comes from a public announcement, website or update note published by the game’s developer or publisher. We record the original link, applicable platform or region, and check date without adding predictions. Store-listed release times are labelled separately from publisher confirmation.

Sources and dates; versions for gameplay data.
These fields let you judge whether a record applies to the version you are playing.
- verifiedVersion
- The game version used to verify the record, such as 1.01. A version label tells you which build was checked.
- verifiedAt
- The date the record was last checked, in YYYY-MM-DD format.
Gameplay records require both fields. Official announcements do not have a tested game version: they require a source URL, check date, scope and confirmation status. Unknown unlock times never receive a countdown.
When the game changes, we check again.
Major game updates trigger a review of the published data.
- Trigger
A major game update starts a new review.
- Scope
All published records are reviewed, including those we do not expect to have changed.
- After a check
The record’s verifiedVersion and verifiedAt are updated to the version and date used for that review.
- While review is pending
Unchecked records keep their previous version and date. They are not relabelled as tested on the new version.

What we do not publish.
GGPatch does not list cracked patches, pirated resources or cheating software, and does not link to their downloads. Our scope is public official information and personally verified in-game data.
