For a US purchase, 05:00 UTC on 19 November converts to midnight in New York and 21:00 on 18 November in Los Angeles. The purchase region stays the same when you change the display time zone.
We have not verified exact times for Australia, New Zealand, Japan, other PS5 store regions, or Xbox regions. This means our evidence is incomplete, not that those regions have a different release date. The Xbox official page confirms 19 November.
When can I preload GTA 6?
Rockstar lists 12 November 2026 at local midnight for digital pre-orders. That is the download start, not permission to play early. The source does not provide a region-by-region UTC preload table, so we do not invent one.
For boxed purchases, Rockstar describes a download code rather than a disc. Shipping and pickup are expected to start on 12 November; your retailer controls delivery. Check the official editions and preload FAQ and your order details.
Before you plan your first session
Does changing my time zone change when I can play?
This tool only converts a listed instant into another clock time. It does not change your purchase, account region or entitlement.
Why is there no countdown for my region?
A date alone is not an exact unlock time. We show a countdown only when we have checked an explicit time for that platform and store region.
Do I need to pre-order?
